Simply stated, plagiarism is presenting someone else's work as your own.
Regardless of intent, if you copy someone's form (words) or content (ideas) without appropriate attribution, you are plagiarizing. Plagiarism is a type of academic dishonesty, and can have serious consequences with your program, university, or employer.
